To promote technical education & Industrial practices, Company has started developing Industrial training Institute since 1992 to bridge the industry –academia gaps. JK Cement is committed to contribute in ‘Skill India Mission’ through quality training, advanced industrial practices and state of art training facilities. For vocational education & Skill development, Company has established Yadupati Singhania Vocational Education Foundation (YPSVEF) to promote, manage and scale the initiatives.
Currently, JK Cement is managing 04 nos. Industrial training Institutes in Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan to implement quality Practical training, Industry led practices and soft skills for work-place. These qualitative ranked no. 1 & 2 Institutes in their respective states by Govt. of India impart trainings on engineering trades like Fitter, electrician, mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electronics Mechanic, Solar technician, Building Construction, Diesel Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning (RAC), Welder to meet industry requirements. Post successful training, students are placed in relevant industries in the local areas and industrial hubs. Company has strategic focus to develop hands on training experience during course to ensure industry readiness of students. Till date, 10000+ students have been passed & placed from industrial training institutes to impact on livelihoods of self & society.
To address growing demand of skills among underprivileged youths, short term Skilling training Center (YPSCVSD), Kanpur is continuously imparting trainings on courses engineering trades (Fitter, electrician, RAC, electronics mechanic) & female oriented courses like beauty & Care and data entry operator. Company is leading industry partner with Uttar Pradesh Skill development mission, Govt. of UP for training & placement support.
